Diy Aluminum Boat Has Anyone Installed Gable Vents?

Has anyone installed Gable Vents? - diy aluminum boat

I have an old house with no ventilation. I was a contractor for the easiest way to add ventilation-was said gable vents at each end of my house. Btw I have no ceiling and my attic is a finished piece ... but there is no attic above and on both sides of the room ... and I have aluminum siding.

Has anyone DIY'd it?
